local-missions-logo1We’ve recently had the opportunity to meet more of our neighbors in our community in order to learn their needs and pray with them. It has been a joyful, Spirit-led time and our the Lord has re-affirmed the spiritual need of this community. We ask Him to send more laborers into this mission field and to bring a harvest for His glory.

Here are some of the things we saw in 20 of the homes we visited:

# of Families NOT Connected to a Church: 7

Family Needs: Better Job, More Time at Home, Friends their Own Age (30’s), Financial Help, Parks, Playgrounds

What Families Desire in a Church: Youth Department, Spirit is Moving, Reverence for God in Preaching, Contemporary Service w/ Worship Band, Kids’ Activities, Casual Dress, Baptist, Active Women’s Group, Young Adult Group, Fellowship w/ People their Own Age, Recreation, Home Groups, Honest & Caring Leadership, Church that is Responsible w/ Finances, Bible Oriented Teaching, Nursery, Mid-Week Bible Study
