Coffee for the Bahamas

Every time someone comes
into the Solid Ground coffee house where our church
meets, we offer them free coffee. French Vanilla,
Hazelnut, Cappachino, Hot Chocolate, Hot Tea, Sumatra,
Decaf...whatever the drink, we’ll make it. Often, those
who come into the coffee house decide to give a
donation for their coffee to our 434 ministry.
Our 434 ministry is currently partnering with Next Step Ministries. In May, 2009, two of our church members went on a mission trip to the All Saints AIDS Camp in the Bahamas. The physical and spiritual needs were palpable.

Now, we, as a church, have an opportunity to take all of our 434 donations that come to the coffee house and purchase doors and windows and toilets for the new homes being built at the AIDS Camp there in the Bahamas.
Next Step Ministries is committed to providing a better community for those at the camp, and we are privileged to be a part of this mission.
”If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?” -James 2:15-16
